Dear Dr. Mussalli, Dr. Worth, Lourdes, Leanne, Barry and Brooke,

I am writing to let you know how grateful I am for your tender care throughout my pregnancy, delivery and postpartum.

Dr. Worth and Dr. Mussalli, thank you so much for being so patient and professional. I feel very fortunate to have delivered a 10.5 lbs baby without any surgical intervention or epidural. I believe that in many ways this was the result of your high professionalism and your minimally invasive methods. I never imagined that labor could be a positive experience or that I could avoid the postpartum depression - I really am enjoying every moment of my motherhood!

I was very sad to hear you had to move your practice. However, I hope you found a nice new home at Lenox Hill Hospital. I wish you the best of luck!

I have been meaning to write you since March when my daughter Yana was born - but the time went by so quickly! Yana is already 4 months! I think of you every day - thank you for giving me the best gift of my life!

I would like to stop by your office in the next couple of weeks to thank you in person.

Dear Dr. Worth, Dr. Mussalli, Leanne and Lourdes,

Thank you all so much for the care and compassion you showered on me and my growing family. I transferred to your practice midway through my pregnancy after feeling overlooked and often ignored at my previous practice. From my first visit at Village OB, I knew the switch was the right decision.

Thank you for always taking the time to answer my questions and reassure an anxious new mom-to-be. I never felt rushed through a visit and always knew you were present and listening to me. This seems like such a rare experience these days and I'm incredibly grateful for it.

My birth experience could not have been more perfect. Barri was there to catch my baby girl, Ms. Alice Lee. The nurses at St. Vincent's were generous, kind and gentle. I'm so sorry that New York has lost this unique institution, but trust that your new home will support the labor and delivery experience that we all want.

Best of luck to you all in this new phase. I can't wait to see you again when it's time for my family to grow (God willing). In the meantime I'm telling everyone who will listen about Village OB!

Thank you so much for letting me be involved in the climax of W's birth. It was a very dramatic scene a few minutes before you arrived. I knew all W wanted was confirmation from you that this was the best decision for her and her baby. W knows how lucky she is to have you as her provider. What I've learned working with multiple providers in NYC is that when women have trust in their providers they can except the things that don't go as planned and their suggestions, solutions, decisions. I feel really honored to watch you and Dr. Mussalli take care of women, even if it means I don't go home for a few days.

Dear Dr Worth, Dr Mussalli , Leanne & Lourdes

I have wanted to send this email since February 22nd the day Dylan and I came home from St. Vincent's but like most new Moms the time just kept slipping away and all of a sudden almost four months had passed us by. Although I was extremely busy enjoying my new found love Dylan, I know you guys where very busy with all that was happening with St. Vincent's, I must say nothing in the fourteen years of living here made me as sad as it did watching the hospital close down. Being a resident in this area and passing the hospital everyday is painful.

I am delighted to here that you have found a new home in Lenox Hill and I hope that you will keep your office on West 12th St. Dave and I want to thank you all for the AMAZING care you gave us, the entire pregnancy was made so much easier with all of your as our doctors. God willing I will be back again to see you all next year. Dylan is the most amazing baby and was definitely worth waiting as long as I did for.

I will stop by the office in the next couple of weeks to see you all hopefully and thank you in person again.

As a first time mother-to-be, there was no "What to Expect" book that could have quelled my anxiety over some aspects of delivery. Luckily I had Drs. Worth and Mussalli with me every step of the way, either in person or a very quick email or phone call away. Any time something came up, they were there to assure me that everything was going to be fine, while never allowing me to feel like an alarmist.

Because of their support and expertise, I was fortunate to have a very easy pregnancy. When it came to labor and delivery, I had some very definitive ideas of how I wanted things to happen, although I was well aware that these things cannot be planned nor dictated. But even with some sizeable odds stacked against me (which Drs. Worth and Mussalli never even considered to be odds :), I managed to have an amazing delivery! It was even better than I could have hoped for. Before Dr. Worth left me on that wonderful evening, she kissed my forehead and said "You got everything you wanted!" And she was right.

When my husband and I first learned that St. Vincent's was closing we were disappointed that we would probably have to switch doctors for our next pregnancy, since we live in New Jersey and would need to opt for convenience. After our experience with Drs. Worth and Mussalli it became obvious that we would follow them wherever they go.

Thank you for a truly wonderful experience, from start to finish.

village ob has happy new home at lenox hill!

A dozen deliveries in our first week at Lenox Hill and the reviews are in! Lenox Hill is a great place to have a baby. The nurses are knowledgable and attentive. The anesthesia service is first class and the Neonatal/Pediatric team is terrific.

We have been impressed with how progressive the leadership is and genuinely interested in meeting the needs and desires of our patients. Lenox Hill is capable and elegant we are very pleased to have to affliate Village Obstetrics at this fabled institution. We look forward to helping lead the way on innovative new services for you in the coming weeks.

Dear Dr. Worth, Dr. Mussalli, Brooke, Barri, Leanne and Lourdes,

I want to thank you for help delivering me into this wonderful world. Mom and Dad have told me how special you all are and how much support and compassion you have provided during the entire pregnancy process. There have been some significant hurdles (emotional hurdles) and without your gentle support, kind words, and professionalism the journey would have been much harder. Yesterday was a momentous occasion as we went to see the pediatric neurologist. The neurologist gave me a clean bill of health. He reviewed the MRI scans done by St. Vincent's and came to the same conclusion as the diagnostician at St. Vincent's. I am within normal parameters. Dr. W from the NICU even called yesterday to let Mom and Dad know the genetic testing was normal as well. I know it is difficult for Mom to express just how grateful she is to the entire staff of Vilage Obstetrics, especially to Brooke who helped her through labor and Dr. Worth who delivered me, so I'll say it for her.
